Curved Link Corners on Diagrams

Should Make Viewing Key To Key Links Easier
February 15, 2010

When a diagram is set to use the Primary Key to Foreign Key Column link strategy the link corners will be rounded in version 1.6.3.

It is hoped that rounding these corners will make viewing the links easier. Particularly when many links reference the same parent table. Instead of making a right angle 'T' joint, the joint will be slightly curved better showing the 'direction' of the link.

In this sample screen shot it seems easier to see that the links from the Account and Location do reference the Mgr table.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
