DbWrench v1.6.2

Important Fixes and Some Enhancements
November 09, 2009

Version 1.6.2 focused mostly on various bug fixes and some enhancements. The most important enhancement is probably the option of having a diagram show only primary key and foreign key columns. The bug fixes focused on two primary areas: 1) reverse engineering related bugs and 2) obscure but serious run-time errors. Most of these run-time errors occurred when items were given ambiguous or duplicate names.

This change log describes all the changes in more detail.

The next DbWrench release will focus less on bugs and more on features, particularly diagram related features. Usually I find that feature enhancement focused releases take slightly longer to finish than those focused on bug fixes. So this next release might take a little more time than the usual two months, but maybe not.

It would be great if the app could remember the tabs that were open from the last session. When I am editing I would like to save and close the app. When I open it again it opens ALL disgram tabs instead of the last one I had open. Real pain when there are a lot of tab diagrams. Also thanks so much for the latest enhancements in 1.6.2!!

Glad you like the enhancements of 1.6.2.
You're right all those tabs always opening on start up is a pain. I'm hoping to fix that in 1.6.3. DbWrench should be able track which tabs were open and even which tab had focus.
